Film maker Declan Cassidy of EurAV.
Have you ever fancied seeing yourself on the silver screen while making a real difference in your community? Well, now’s your chance!
The Drogheda Motor Show Dealers, supported by First Citizen Finance, Drogheda & District Chamber, the Society of the Irish Motor Industry (SIMI), Louth County Council, An Garda Síochána and the Road Safety Authority (RSA), are calling on local talent to take part in a powerful new road safety campaign.
As part of the group’s 2025 Road Safety Charter, this short film series aims to drive home the message that while modern vehicles are safer than ever, safe driving starts with the person behind the wheel. The campaign will feature three eye-catching video adverts, to be showcased in local cinemas and across social media, tackling real-life driving behaviours around seatbelt use, speeding, and driver fatigue.
And the best part? You could be starring in one of them.

No professional experience is required—just passion, presence, and the willingness to help make our roads safer.
“When I was approached about getting involved in this initiative, I didn’t have to think twice,” says Declan Cassidy. “This might be a fun local production, but the message has the power to save lives.”
