The makers and creators of the Drogheda Cottage Market celebrate their 9th birthday on Saturday next, March 1^st at the former Monsoon unit on the first floor of Scotch Hall Shopping Centre featuring over 50 producers offering a wide selection of foods, drinks and crafts.

There will be an array of original gift ideas with a special focus on Mother's Day from jewellery designers, bespoke artworks, photography, handcrafted skincare, candles, Irish design fashion, books and vinyl. Visitors can pick up all manner of gourmet goodness from award-winning breads, cakes, Indian street food, chutneys, cheese, to olive oils ; conserves , local honey and confectionery. 

Sensory hour will still remain from 10am till 11am on market day and then the atmosphere will be lit up with beats from a live DJ from 11 till 5pm on the day.

Organisers of the market said: "We owe it to our Cottage Market Community our amazing traders, supporters and loyal customers who have helped to keep the market a vibrate asset to our town.

“We have navigated the pandemic, changes in market locations and popped up across the town and its endeavours spanning nine years.  We look forward to another year providing our town with this amazing monthly market.
