Development Perspectives has announced the launch of The Boyne Ripple, a free part-time community climate action project designed to engage and empower residents of the Boyne Catchment area (Louth, Meath, and Cavan).
"The Boyne Ripple project's aim is in the name!” said Project Coordinator, Eolain Downey. “To unify climate passionate community members around the Boyne catchment area and create some ripples of positive change."
Running from May to September 2025, the initiative is open to anyone over 18 with a passion for climate justice and community action.

Building on the success of the Boyne Vision, The Boyne Ripple will create a vibrant community dedicated to lowering carbon emissions and reducing pollution in the region.

One-on-one sessions between May and September, scheduled flexibly to support the development of local action projects.

Participants will attend two engaging in-person workshops, complemented by personalised online coaching. From understanding the climate challenges specific to the Boyne Catchment to launching grassroots initiatives, participants will gain tools, knowledge, and support to turn ideas into impactful action.
