Local Enterprise Week 2025 will take place from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th March. This week-long event offers a host of free events aimed at supporting and growing businesses across County Louth.
"Local Enterprise Week is a flagship programme of events for us," said Niall Gallagher, Senior Enterprise Development Officer with Local Enterprise Office Louth.
"We're committed to providing entrepreneurs and business owners with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, and this week is a fantastic opportunity to learn, connect, and grow."

Niall explains “We kick off the week with our launch event on Monday, where digital expert and acclaimed trainer Greg Fry will showcase the latest innovations and possibilities in AI.
"On Tuesday, we turn our attention to the cross border economy and are proud to host this years “Building a Sustainable All-Island Economy” in partnership with Dundalk and Newry Chambers.”
“On Wednesday, we’ll examine how Creative Thinking can drive innovation and business success in partnership with the team in Creative Spark. That afternoon, our colleagues in Local Enterprise Office Meath invite Louth businesses to join their online seminar on Accessing Finance.” Niall continues.
“Thursday is another action-packed day starting with a business and networking breakfast hosted by Drogheda Chamber. This event will feature a panel of local entrepreneurs talking about the secrets of their business success and the importance of innovation, adaptability and creativity.
"Later that day, the team at The Mill Enterprise Hub will host a session showcasing supports for high-potential enterprises looking to scale. With a range of experts and the opportunity for one-to-one follow ups, this session will be a very valuable learning experience.” Niall continues.
“Network Ireland Louth will mark International Women’s Day 2025 with a networking and learning event on Thursday evening at the Fairways Hotel. Hosted by President Nicola Connolly-Byrne and featuring acclaimed speaker Julie Burke, this event promises to be a dynamic, innovative and insightful event.”
Niall outlines “On Friday morning, our colleagues in Local Enterprise Office Meath will launch a new pilot range of supports for people with a disability looking to start a business. Renowned speaker James Kavanagh will deliver the keynote address and a panel discussion will review the opportunities and challenges for people with a disability starting a business.”
“And finally, the highlight of Local Enterprise Week is always the Louth Enterprise Awards, which takes place on Friday. This business networking lunch brings together business owners and leaders with representatives from state agencies and the Louth County Council. Taking place at The Monasterboice Inn, Drogheda, this is the perfect way to end the week and celebrate Louth’s emerging entrepreneurs.” Niall concludes.
