A new initiative called Féchín Loving Life has been launched to create a safe and welcoming space for people aged 65 and over to come together, socialise, and enjoy a variety of enriching activities. Their first event, a sale of work, takes place in St. Fechin’s GAA Club this Saturday.
This weekly event aims to foster connection, promote well-being, and provide a supportive community for everyone involved.
Located at the Parish Hall, Sheetland Road, Termonfeckin, A92 DNT9, Féchín Loving Life is open to all over-65s in the pastoral area. Whether you wish to stop by for a friendly chat or participate in organised activities, you’ll find something to enjoy.
The organisers are making the programme accessible by offering a minibus service to transport attendees to and from their homes. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with tea, coffee, and refreshments, followed by a hearty hot lunch later.
