Action from the the Boyne (green jerseys) and Tullamore Hockey Clubs.
Undeterred by cold and rain the players and supporters at Boyne Hockey’s home grounds at Drogheda Grammar School had a busy weekend and the pitches were in constant use as they played host to teams from Pembroke, Genesis, North Kildare, Tullamore and Muckross.
Across the league, Boyne Hockey is holding strong, keeping the pressure on their competition. While the sixth class (black team) had an unfortunate loss to Tullamore, the sixth class (green team) continued their winning streak with a win against Pembroke.
The First Year (green team) facing a loss away to Monkstown might have been a tough blow, but they’re staying positive with five more games to go. The u12s boys missed out to North Kildare. There's still plenty of opportunity to turn things around and make a push for a strong finish.
At the Senior end, Boyne firsts won their match against Pembroke which helps keep them in sight of topping the league.
