Peter McGrane speaking at the Network Ireland Louth Branch: Small Actions - Big Impact event at Gateway Hotel in Dundalk.
The guest speaker at Network Ireland Louth’s November meeting at the Gateway Hotel in Dundalk was business coach and mentor Peter McGrane who delivered a thought-provoking presentation entitled “Small Actions, Big Impact” to an audience of local female business owners and entrepreneurs.
During his presentation, Peter shared valuable strategies on how small, consistent actions can drive significant results for entrepreneurs. He advised on knowing the “why of your business”. It keeps businesses focused and with a clear sense of purpose.
He cautioned business owners that they can’t do everything and if they’re too busy they don’t have the time to grow the business. Peter also cautioned that “there is no bigger waste of time than doing everything perfectly – perfection is the enemy of very good”.
The message was that ‘done is often better than perfect’. He spoke about having clear goals set for a business. A goal must be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time bound). Goals are the roadmap that help to measure success and stay aligned with the “why”.

Peter’s insights resonated with the attendees, but he also reminded them to make time for themselves in the midst of juggling running a business and family life. They left the event feeling motivated and equipped with practical tools to manage their businesses and enhance their business growth.
