Quality of service offered by Bus Éireann in Drogheda criticised

Front Page

Election hopeful Peter James Nugent has expressed his concerns over the quality of the transport service provided by Bus Éireann he says a number of services may be cancelled due to a lack of functioning buses.

“This issue has caused major inconveniences for commuters and travellers, especially on the busy route to Dublin” he says.

According to Nugent, many of the buses currently in use are old and not reliable, leading to frequent breakdowns and cancellations. This has caused a major inconvenience for those who rely on the bus service to get to work or the airport.

Nugent is calling on the National Transport Authority (NTA) and the Transport Minister to allocate new buses to Drogheda in order to continue providing a reliable and efficient service. He highlights the importance of this route for locals traveling to Dublin airport and for commuters.

The urgency of this issue was highlighted this morning when one Dublin-bound bus was cancelled because no buses were available. This left many passengers, including airport staff, stranded and unable to reach their destinations.

In order to accommodate this Dublin run, another bus that operates the town service was cancelled, causing further disruption for local residents.

The lack of functioning buses in Drogheda has caused major inconvenience and frustration, it is now up to the NTA and the Transport Minister to take action and ensure that adequate resources are allocated to this busy route.

According to recent reports, the town of Drogheda is facing a major issue with its public transportation system. The VB busses, which are the new small buses, are often too full to accommodate all passengers, leaving many people behind on their routes.

This has caused frustration and inconvenience for commuters, who rely on the bus to get to work, school, and other important destinations. Lots of people have expressed their concerns to me regarding this situation.
