McHugh’s Venue proudly presents Drogheda’s ONLY regular comedy night, Deadly Craic Comedy Club (formally known as the Crescent Comedy Club) on Friday July 25^th. We are now in a brand new venue, on a brand new night, with a brand spanking new name! 

For around a tenner, on the last Friday of every month, you get a night of big laughs from some of Ireland’s finest comedians. Get ready for headliner, Ian Coppinger!

One of Ireland’s busiest comedians, award-winning Ian is a regular on the world comedy circuit, having played to packed houses at nearly every comedy festival in the world including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Melbourne, Montreal Just for Laughs, Galway, Altitude, Electric Picnic, Glastonbury, Dublin, Adelaide, Cork, Brisbane and Kilkenny.

Ian also travels the world playing every comedy club imaginable, having performed in over 50 countries and is a regular MC at the world-famous Comedy Store in London. Ian now divides his time between Ireland and Australia, spending a couple of months a year in Australia, where he MCs and headlines every club there.

Not only do you get a famous comic in an intimate setting, but you also get a killer line up featuring some of the country's best up-and-comers, such as the hilarious Shawn Uyosa and Fiona O’Mahony.
