Boyne Hockey Club has been busy, both on and off the pitch in recent weeks. With a record turnout for its annual participation in Drogheda’s St Patrick’s Day Parade, this was a great opportunity to present the club to the wider community. The boys and girls of the club marched proudly with the club goalies happily high-fiving the crowds while donning their full kits.

The senior matches are drawing to a close with some great wins, comfortable draws and crushing losses but the players have kept their focus on the game and demonstrated great sporting attitudes. The sixth class and first year teams are in the final stages of their league play offs, with the girls vying for victory.

As the club prepares to wind down training for the season, they look forward to  their annual Easter camp which takes place at Drogheda Grammar School from Mon 14 to Thurs 17 April daily from 10 – 2pm.

This camp is designed for all skills and none and all are welcome. So whether you’re looking to improve your playing or interested in joining a team next season, sign up and enjoy this fast-paced and energetic team sport. No experience necessary.
