Bobby McCormack, the CEO of the Drogheda based Global Citizenship Education NGO, Development Perspectives, had the honour of presenting President Michael D. Higgins with the inaugural Global Voice for Humanity Award at the Irish Development Education Association (IDEA) Conference 2025.
In his dual role as CEO of Development Perspectives and Chair of IDEA, Bobby McCormack presented the award on behalf of the Association in recognition of President Higgins’ lifelong dedication to global justice, transformative education, and the promotion of human dignity.
